We’re Back: dozanü Co-Chairs the Disability:IN DOBE Host Committee Again (And We’re Louder Than Ever)

The countdown is on, and our bags are (almost) packed.

 

This July, we’re headed to Disability:IN 2025, the largest gathering of disability-owned businesses and corporate allies — and this year, we’re bringing the heat.

 

For the second year in a row, dozanü innovations is proud to serve as Co-Chair of the DOBE Host Committee, alongside our friends at Mobility Mojo.

 

We’ve been on this stage before — but this year, we’re bringing even bolder strategy, sharper tech, and louder advocacy.

 

Here’s how we’re showing up:

Attending any conference or event this year? Here’s how to show up inclusively:

  1. Make Time for Disability-Owned Businesses.

At Disability:IN, it’s the DOBEs. At other events, it’s the smaller vendors, the accessibility-focused startups, the folks without the flashy booths. Go find them. You’ll be glad you did.

 

  1. Ask the Access Question.

Don’t assume everything’s accessible — ask about captions, interpreters, quiet rooms, seating, and beyond. The more we normalize access, the better we build.

 

  1. Listen for the Voices You Don’t Usually Hear.

Look for panels led by disabled, BIPOC, queer, and multiply-marginalized speakers. That’s where the innovation usually is.

 

  1. Skip the Performative Allyship.

Don’t just share a quote on LinkedIn — show up with intention. That means hiring, collaborating, and compensating equitably.

 

  1. Be the Follow-Through.

Bring the ideas home. Share insights with your team. Update your policies. Make access part of your everyday decisions — not just your event checklist.
