Inside the (remote) halls of dozanü
Accessibility is a core part of how we approach everything—how we plan, create, connect, and communicate. It’s in our strategy, in the language we use, and in our commitment to genuine representation. Accessibility means making space for everyone, no matter their background, abilities, or how they engage with the world.
But what does that actually look like? Let’s crack open the Zoom windows and show you a day in the life of a fully remote, full-of-feelings, access-obsessed creative team.
10:00 AM: Monday Client Huddle
Nope, we don’t do daily stand-ups. We do Monday huddles with purpose. Strategy, design, copy, project management, all in one space, mapping the week and making sure we’re not just doing things right, we’re doing the right things.
And yes, someone always asks:
“Is there a more accessible way to do this?”
Spoiler: There usually is.
11:00 AM: Deep Dive with Our Departments
This is where it gets nerdy. Our department crews (Design, Copy, Ops, etc.) meet to unblock, brainstorm, and finesse the details. Accessibility is baked in from the jump. And we love a good debate over heading hierarchy.
12:00 PM: Lunch + Slack
Slack is where we live and breathe (and occasionally meme our way through the workday). It’s how we brainstorm, strategize, and, yes, sneak in a few virtual high-fives. Whether it’s a quick sandwich, a leftover meal, or a coffee refill, lunch is the perfect time to recharge and chat informally. We believe in taking breaks, and sometimes, that’s when the best ideas hit!
1:00 PM: Client Time
Time to chat strategy with our clients. We discuss what’s working, what isn’t, and how we can improve accessibility across campaigns. Every meeting is an opportunity to educate, share insights, and push the boundaries of what accessible marketing can do.
2:00 PM: Focus Mode: Activated
Heads down, eyes on the details. We’re writing copy that speaks clearly and inclusively, designing visuals that tell authentic stories, and reviewing every element with a sharp, intentional eye. We dig into the specifics, whether it’s color contrast, captioning, or making sure our language is respectful and accessible.
3:00 PM: Sales Chat
When we say “sales,” we really mean storytelling. We’re not here to pressure, we’re here to show you what’s possible when you care about access and aesthetics. We share the why, the how, and the results we’ve seen.
4:00 PM: More Focus, Less Noise
We refine, optimize, and collaborate. Whether we’re finalizing a campaign launch or conducting a content audit, we stay focused on delivering quality work. The challenge? Making sure everything is inclusive and accessible without compromising the message.
5:00 PM: Prep, Not Panic
We spend the last part of the day setting up tomorrow’s wins. We prep tasks, check timelines, and make sure we’re not waking up to chaos. Being ready isn’t boring — it’s powerful.
6:00 PM: Quiet Wrap
No chaotic end-of-day rush here. We make one last pass over everything because accessibility is in the details that many people overlook.
The dozanü Difference
We’re smart, strategic, a little chaotic, and deeply human. We ask better questions. We listen harder. And we build marketing that’s actually for everyone. Not because it’s trendy. Because it’s right.
If you want marketing that works and respects people?
You’re in the right place.
Let’s make something beautiful (and accessible) together.
