Hi, Leila here! As a writer, performer, and content creator, I’m always thinking of how to communicate ideas to a variety of groups of people. I believe that when you lead with authenticity, the rest will fall into place.

I’ve spent over a decade working with Deaf-owned businesses and organizations on branding, campaign strategy, marketing, and communications. I love giving motivational presentations and hosting vision board workshops. As a creative outlet I produce and perform ASL song covers on my Instagram page (@todayiawaken). Living in Austin, Texas, with my husband, two young children, and two aging chihuahuas, has been incredibly fulfilling.

One of the most pivotal moments in my life was when I took a career pause for a year to focus on my family, recover from burnout, and realign with my core values. I’m inspired to return to the workforce with a company like dozanü where I get to channel my creativity and passion in communications and make an impact, especially within the Deaf and Disabled communities. The future is accessible, y’all.
